Transfer Fees

Handguns / Long Guns (Title 1) $30 per item

NFA (Class 3) $75 per item

The applicable incoming transfer fee becomes due once the item has been received and processed by Yowie Outdoors, even if the customer later decides not to complete the transfer. Need multiple transfers? Ask about coordinating shipments for a smooth pickup.

Shipping to Us

Ask the sending dealer to include the receiving customer's full name and phone number with the shipment.
Non-FFL shippers must include the identification information required for Yowie Outdoors to lawfully record the acquisition.
Use insured, tracked shipping and retain the tracking information.

Outgoing Transfers

We can ship your firearm to another FFL using compliant packaging and carrier procedures. Actual shipping, insurance, packaging, and handling costs apply.

Shipping Notes

Handguns and long guns are shipped using a lawful carrier and service appropriate to the firearm, destination, and current carrier requirements.
Firearms to Alaska or Hawaii are subject to actual shipping costs.
We can pack for you; bringing the original case helps.

Transfer Intake Form

Customers: please complete the transfer intake form below for incoming transfers.
For efficient processing, the receiving customer's full name and phone number must be included with the firearm(s). Missing customer information may delay processing.
A carrier delivery notification does not mean the firearm is ready for pickup. Transfers are available only after Yowie Outdoors has completed intake and processing, contacted the customer, and an appointment has been scheduled to complete the transfer. Some notifications and processing steps are automated; please check your spam or junk folder if you are expecting a message.
Incoming transfers are processed in the order received. Transfers are processed Monday through Thursday.
Customers have 30 calendar days after Yowie Outdoors sends notice that a transferred firearm is ready for pickup, unless other arrangements have been made in writing. Beginning on day 31, a storage fee of $5 per day, per firearm may be assessed. Storage fees continue until the firearm is picked up, returned, or otherwise lawfully dispositioned and do not determine ownership. Items that remain unclaimed for nine (9) months may be treated as unclaimed or abandoned and may be returned, sold, transferred, or otherwise dispositioned only in accordance with applicable law. If you want an incoming firearm or NFA item returned to the original seller before completing the transfer, contact the seller first and obtain return authorization. The applicable Yowie Outdoors transfer fee remains due once the item has been received and processed. Unless the seller provides a prepaid shipping label or agrees to the costs, the customer is responsible for return shipping, insurance, packaging, handling, and other actual return costs. NFA items may require dealer-to-dealer ATF processing before shipment.
